2024-2025 Elbert Spring Testing Dates
State and federal law require district students to take standardized assessments in the instructional areas of English language arts, math and science. State law also requires students to take standardized assessments in the instructional area of social studies. Accordingly, Elbert School District administers standardized assessments pursuant to these state and federal legal requirements. The full district policies relating to this requirement and the testing schedule can be found by accessing the appropriate documents contained on this page. Please see the important information and assessment schedule in the message to parents below.
Our third through eleventh-graders are taking the statewide assessments that are aligned to the Colorado Academic Standards and measure real world skills like problem solving, communicating and thinking critically -- skills that are critical to success in college and careers for the 21st Century. These assessments, called the Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) tests, examine students’ knowledge in English language arts, math, and science.
Please read the information and testing schedule contained in this letter to parents/guardians from the superintendent.
